Tuscaloosa SantaCon 2018
Tuscaloosa, Alabama | December 14th, 2018
Recap + Cultural Event Photography
The streets of Tuscaloosa were once again filled with holiday cheer on December 14th as the annual Tuscaloosa SantaCon celebration took place. Participants dressed up as Santa Claus, or other holiday themed characters, and took to various bars in the Druid City to celebrate the season while also doing a good deed for those in need. Like in previous years, Tuscaloosa SantaCon incorporated a toy drive for Turning Point of West Alabama. Between the SantaCon event and the kick-off celebration the night before at Druid City Brewing, a bevy of toys were donated to make sure needy kids in the Tuscaloosa area have a good Christmas.
As one of the event organizers, I’d like to extend a work of thanks and appreciation to all those who attended and participated in this year’s event. I’d also like to thanks the bars and establishments for letting us a wave of people on them during a busy Friday night. I’d finally like to thank my other event organizers for doing a lot of the leg work and making sure this year’s event went off without a hitch. Here’s to a great SantaCon this year and a great foundation for Tuscaloosa SantaCon 2019 next year!
