No one can dispute the fact Josh Dunn and Tyler Joseph of Twenty One Pilots know how to draw a crowd. For their show at the Birmingham-Jefferson Civic Center Arena in Birmingham, Alabama on June 18th, a stop on “The Bandito Tour”, some fans started camping outside the venue as early as four days before the concert. That’s dedication by a fan base, and that dedication was rewarded with an aces show by the members of Twenty One Pilots. With a stage production that included a flaming car, confetti, and all sorts of other pieces of eye candy, the show was a great one to cover.
The show had a festive mood from the start as it was also Josh Dun’s birthday. The crowd wore birthday hats along with their band merch and numerous yellow colored accessories to celebrate. This concert was also a way for Dunn and Joseph to celebrate and support their latest album, “Trench”, which was released in 2018 on the Fueled by Ramen label. All in all, this show was quite the treat for the masses of Twenty One Pilot fans in the Magic City.
